His book Culture Shock, published by Wiley in August 2012, describes the emerging revolution in 21st century business.

The specialist consultancy Will founded, NixonMcInnes, is one of only two UK organisations to have made the WorldBlu List of Most Democratic Workplaces, and consults with major brands across Europe including Barclays, Cisco, First Group, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Telefonica O2, and WWF.

Will is a non-executive director of Wired Sussex, which supports the development of the digital business community in Brighton. Will is married with two energetic young boys, is a mountain biking geek, loves camping and eating far too much curry.

Will McInnes is a passionate voice on 21st century business and how the internet is radically changing our personal behaviour, our organizations and our society. McInnes regularly provides comment and opinion to the media, including a live appearance on BBC News 24 television, on BBC radio and in the Financial Times.

His book Culture Shock, published by Wiley in August 2012, describes the emerging revolution in 21st century business.

Will has particular expertise in the social web, and is part of the movement to harness and understand the cultural impact of online social networks and apply those insights to organisation design.

NixonMcInnes is a mixed disciplinary consultancy based in Brighton that helps the UK’s biggest organisations to make sense of and then change to thrive in the era of the social web. Active clients include Barclays, Cisco, Channel 4, O2, First Group, HSBC, Nectar, The Body Shop, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, RSPCA and WWF.

As well as serving its clients NixonMcInnes experiments with many emerging business trends including measuring happiness of all staff daily, developing a powerful feedback culture through group listening workshops and using open book accounting and participation in decision making to drive better business results.

In 2012 Will curated the first Meaning Conference, a ‘ballsy, provocative’ event about the future of business held annually in Brighton, where radical thinkers and hands-on do-ers shared their perspectives about how to make business fit for the 21st century.
